This Momiji (Japanese Maple) was growing in the grounds of Sanno Shrine in Nagasaki. Momiji is also another reading of the kanji for autumn leaves; 紅葉 (kouyou).

Nice one Rob. I love Japanese Maple leaves, and I like how this group is isolated from the ones that make up the colorful bokeh in the background.

Thanks Todd! Last year was the best autumn I've seen in Japan. The maples were spectacular, especially in Himeji and Kyoto!
