Is that a badger he is nibbling on? If he is waiting on the corn crop he will have a long wait .

It's a racoon - no badgers around here! It's funny, I thought they were nesting or something until I zoomed in. They are ugly birds, but it's rare to get this close to them. I shot this with the 55-300 HD WR. I wish I had the 300mm f4, or one of the longer lenses. Couldn't get closer to the birds, it would have been cool to get a little more detail on them.
