Note To Self

Must use "Deviate Lady" (Pentax 28mm F3.5 Shift) more often, just a quick play here.

Shifted 11mm left then right, both images then merged in LR.

The manual for the 28 Shift suggests it’s around 15mm equivalent.

Now I why did nae think to look in the manual?

It certainly feels wider than the “Mistress”, maybe cos it’s letterboxed the format.

This image was not cropped, I’ll have to go back and take with “Mistress” to compare.

The "Mistress" image is wider, I've posted her image in the same ratio size as the original "Deviate Lady" image.

I've posted together to make the comparison easier.

The camera position is slightly different, but they look pretty much the same in terms of FoV to my (admittedly Antipodean) eyes.

I must try a comparison with my 28 Shift and my Irix 15mm, but I suspect the difference may lie with the actual (as distinct from nominal) focal length. Even a half-millimetre difference around the 15mm mark can make a noticeable FoV difference (I have the DA14 and DA15, and that 1mm difference is distinctly noticeable, even on APS-C).
