Pets R.I.P. Little buddy.

This is the one year anniversary of the passing of my 16-year companion. Of all the dogs that have owned me in my life, he was the one that stole my heart. He was special. Very special.

R.I.P. Buckwheat.

I definitely can share your pain. We love them so much, that it leaves a huge hole in our hearts when we lose them. I went 16 months after losing my Juneau, before puppy Trixie came into my life.

No new dogs ever replace those that we have lost, simply they are an addition to our lives.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Buckwheat; but he remains in his special place of your heart, forever.

When he passed, two of my little neighborhood urchins created a sidewalk chalk memorial to him. He captured the hearts of everyone he met in his long, happy, healthy 16 year life. His favorite game was chasing the big 5-point bull elk that lived on our hill. What a site that was! It was obvious that they BOTH were enjoying it.
