South Burnie is the industrial area of the port city of Burnie, in the NW of Tasmania.
The hill in the backgound is known as Round Hill, and is the home of the local communication and TV towers.

Outstanding seaport town/landscape photography. Very colorful, interesting and sharp. I am willing to wager that you had a lot of fun setting this up. Excellent work.

I have photographed this scene a number of times, and this one that I liked best, was taken with an old FA 28mm lens. Taken from a hill just to the south of the CBD, and includes a Lookout over the city further around to left of this image.

A classically good seascape/landscape. The contrast of an industrial are right up against the ocean reminds me our area here in SE Texas.
