"Car 54 Where Are You? Right here in Freeport, Texas. ) This appears to be a 1952 Ford Police Interceptor, although chances are I am mistaken. Beautiful looking vehicle. Nice Black & White effect.

I fought the law........and the law won too.....but I'm not going to talk about those days, Jer.

Good looking Ford and best in black and white, since it was black and white to start with.

Thanks, Tony - it's an early '50s car, but that's all I know.

Thanks much, Mar. Maybe you (and I) should put a little less force in the old accelerator pedal!

Nice. Great Shot, B/W gives the pic extra life...

Round head lights reminds me of our first car that my Dad bought - Standard 10, made in UK, imported to India. I learned to drive in that car. Made in the 60's, it still runs, it's been with us for past 33 years.

What a beautiful old Ford... and I love the bullet-shaped siren unit.

Perfect in monochrome. Another superb capture, Jer

Thank you. Round head lights bring back memories for me, as well. Particularly, learning to drive in a '58 Morris Minor convertible.

I remember that song quite well... and some identified with it...back during the muscle car era of 45-50 years ago.

A nice patrol car that ...what looks to be around a '51 Ford I'm guessing. Probably with the flathead V8 and I bet the three on the tree. The B&W picture is the perfect choice for this old Ford...very nice use of monochrome in your photo. I believe both Mounties (RCMP not the 'county mountie' ) and our city police used these old Fords as patrol cars way back when.

Les, I'm sure it has a flathead; I just noticed that the license says "51" so it probably was a '50 or '51. In the '60s, I had a good friend who owned a '50 Mercury - 3-spd manual (Hurst Mystery Shifter) with a flathead - maroon and very cool.
