Tired ladies

A cross country invitational was held very near my home this morning. So I walked over to get few shots of the runners. This is the same cross country course I ran on when I was in high school back in the early 1970's.
All these shots were taken with my 50 year old Asahi Takumar 135mm f/3.5 Chrome.

Damn the skin glows with the... erm... dewy mist of excertion. The B&W really works here

Thanks for the comments everyone.

It was interesting to see the change in the girls from before the race to after. They definately were in a sweat both during and after the race.

When I ran cross country many years ago, there was no cross country running for high school girls. It's nice to see things have improved since then.

Frank, #2 is a masterpiece - look at the concentration and maybe a bit of pain. Great job!
