Richard Milhous Nixon was the 39th president of the USA, most famous for the Watergate break-in coverup, but also for his foreign policy skills. The library/museum is situated on the Nixon family ranch in Yorba Linda, where he was born.
You pass a large tiered fountain near the entrance.

Above the open end of the museum is the kit house built by Nixon's father, in which Richard was born. The museum people offered to rotate the house to make it more accessible, but Nixon thought he'd like to keep it as-built.
