There is some incredible detail in the center of the flower! Amazing detail. Beautiful work from a great combo of equipment.

Many thanks, Dewey. It amazes me as to how many folks love to trash that kit lens from Pentax. I get a lot of really nice results with macros and close-ups with it.

I've had the opportunity to try many different "kit lenses" of the 18-55mm variety. Some have passed muster, some have not. The two I have now are great lenses. Obviously, the one you have contains lots of Pixie Dust!
