Stages in a plants life.
Posted By: heliphoto, 10-11-2008, 09:48 PM

This is many plants, as I'm not patient enough to return to the same plant for the amount of time required for such a series. All shots are 1:1 macros or thereabouts. The link below each pic will show you the exif (why can't smugmug embed it?)

The second to last looks about right for a comb-over.

I'm just glad someone saw this post, I thought maybe it was invisible.

I haven't nearly enough patience to pull it off for real. Each of these shots is a different plant (or at least a diff. stem I didn't really check) all taken yesterday. They just gave me the idea that you could follow one of 'em for a while and see all the same stages. I tried to convey that in my first sentence, but my title may be too misleading in this regard.

Really I was just trying to participate in the whole pentaxium thing yesterday, and I couldn't leave home (been gone too much all summer, so my wife lays claim to me when I'm back and she's off work) so I was wandering around the hill behind my house with my macro lens wound out at 1:1 seeing what I could find.
