Electricity pylon exploding and catching fire

Wow. Electricity scares the bejeezus outta me. That's an epic set of photos...
How did you come about this occurrence?

I was watching 3 cooling towers at Didcot, Oxforshire being demolished [blown up] and I think some dust/debris from that shorted out the insulators on the pole.

Wow! I've never seen that before and I think I would only like to see it via a photo. Quite a series.

Yup. Dust will do it, especially if there was a bit of dew to start with. Great shots!
