Here are a couple shots from the Canaletto Stadtfest in Dresden, last Sunday. Time between the end of the fireworks and the beginning of a "you cannot see anything with the rain curtain" downpour: 10 seconds, give or take. Camera is safe, fortunately

nice composition and beautiful colours! really like the reflections and sheet lightening - I have such a had time taking pictures of fireworks because of the smoke they make, you must have caught them early on!
