Sunrise in Vernazza, Cinque Terre
Lens: Hasselblad XCD 30mm Camera: Hasselblad X1D ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F11

The iconic sunrise view from above Vernazza, in Cinque Terre, is definitely spectacular. However, I never really liked the classic view with the tower touching the mountain across, which pretty much kills the composition for me. So, I found my own spot, from where the tower is detached from the mountain and has some room to breathe. 81 seconds exposure with my Hasselblad X1D, Hasselblad XCD 30mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters

Thank you for viewing, best regards

Excellent shot, and a good choice of locations to photograph this beautiful scene!

Hello Salye, yes, I wish it wasn't there, but in principle I am not keen on removing such things from my images... perhaps next time I'll visit I should bring paint and a brush, and take care of it myself before photographing it!

Best regards,

Vieri
