I was amazed at how docile these wasps were.

Thanks, Todd. I shoot at f:8 with this lens most of the time because.... um.... well.... it just seems to give me the results I want with the boken I would like. But, by stopping down one stop, it gave me the DOF I had been missing on some of my insect shots. There's kind of a fine balance between acceptable DOF and bokeh. I LOVE my FA-100 f:2.8 macro lens.

It was a honeysuckle bush and the wasps seem to be eating the petals and not gathering the pollen like a bee would.
