Beautiful bird, beautiful photo. Boy, did you get fabulous detail in both the bird's feathers and the cable upon which it perched.

Thank you! Luckily, I was distracted from photographing a Platypus long enough to notice that this guy landed right about minimum focal distance for the DFA 150-450.

Thanks! Normally I have to crop Fairy Wren photos quite a lot, but all I did with this was crop it square. There's a lot more detail in the original image.
