I like it, the different depth and level of B/W show very well.

Nice! I have always wanted to take a good photo of fog or mist. It has eluded me so far. Always nice to see how it is done. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jimbo, It was 6am the mist was already clearing, this photo didn't have the same feel in colour, so I used PS CS3 black and white conversion layer, adjusted the sliders (mainly red and yellow) for contrast, then gave a perspective filter to make the trees more vertical as they where leaning in with the 16mm end of the lens.

thank you Timbo, i think the heavy mist right at the back of the pic gives it plenty of depth
