King Skogafoss, Iceland
Lens: Hasselblad XCD 30mm Camera: Hasselblad X1D ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F16

Skogafoss, here shown at sunrise, is one of the most majestic and impressive waterfalls I have ever seen and photographed.*8 seconds exposure with my Hasselblad X1D, my Hasselblad XCD 30mm and my Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters.

Really nice, the amount of spray it gives off is unbelievable, I got totally drenched, from what I remember there were lots of birds and nests around it.

The sky's color really brings out an interesting mood. I like your classical composition, it gives perspective and depth.

Thank you very much, glad you liked it! Yes, the fall showers you pretty nicely if you get close, and yes, the cliffs around it are full of birds & nests, it must make a great habitat for them!
