Building Materials...
Posted By: Kerrowdown, 3 Days Ago

Corrugated iron was patented in 1828 and used extensively in the traditional construction of roofs in Scotland, the French however...

Well right up until 1981, built vehicles from it...

This one has been recycled from 1964, to IMHO something far more useful than a panel van.

Someone had a good idea and executed it well, besides that it's a well taken photograph. Location close to a tourist attraction?

Wonder if I could get a Nessie Burger and an order of chips.

Years ago, my wife and I were visiting relatives/touring in Great Britain and we went to the Sherwood Forest. At that time there was a take out restaurant there, with the workers dressed in forest green with Robin Hood hats on etc...and I recall I had a Friar Tuck Burger and Long John fries. I probably don't have the food names quite right as it was a long time ago and after all, I am an old geezer. But the food was good and we enjoyed the forest and the Major Oak.

Nice pix of that old French van (Renault / Citroen ?). Don't see many French vehicles over here, so it is good to see a picture of one.

Lovely background and rich colours in the pix.

Not here I'm afraid, this is strictly for Coffee or the odd wee snack.
