Yesterday I went hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park to test out a couple cameras.

Tonight I made a panorama of 3 images from the 40 megapixel Pentax 645D.

I uploaded the full size jpg to my Dropbox for those of you who want to see the full size image. View it at 100% and scroll around to see the detail these medium format cameras can render. It's is pretty crazy how much is captured on that chip.

The size is 52 MB for the image.

The detail is, as you say, amazing, when the image is taken up to the 100% magnification. Would make an amazing wall hanging if printed to full size - assuming it was printed by an appropriate level of print technology.
