Sun had set not a lot of light left but seen this guy on the way out , not a breath of wind , tripod used , hence the slow shutter speed , I do not like the image quality after ISO 1600 on the K 1

What’s not to like about #2? Nicely textured. Gives the feel of how a large moose can just suddenly appear.

Great pix. I've never played peek a boo in the forest with a Bull Moose.

Wonderful opportunity you had there. I've come across a Bull Moose twice, when I had my camera. Once in Manitoba's Riding Mountain area and another time while near a marshy area around Lake of the Woods.

At the Lake of the Woods, I recall trying to get my camera out of our station wagon...then the Moose looked at me...I was about 100 yards away, he pawed the frozen ground (late spring time) and I could see him turning in my direction. I thought discretion is the better part of valour, hopped quickly into the driver's seat and sped away.

It would of made for a great pix..hoar frost...background...but it was not to be.

I particularly like your first and second pix. Nicely done. You caught him peering with one eye...checking out your every move. Nice shot, considering all the plant life between you and him...good job in avoiding focusing on the surrounding greenery.

Great captures! The last one is kind of funny. (In a good way.)
