Lake Hawea

The road from Wanaka to the coast follows Lake Hawea then Lake Wanaka before descending into a maze of gorges.

Apologies if this scale is unacceptably large. The image is stored on Flickr, so I'm hoping that it's OK.

Thanks! I was wondering why I couldn't find the map location because I mixed up which lake it was! The vistas in the South Island of New Zealand are incredible!

Thank you! The magic of five images at 16mm stitched. I did take the 8-16mm lens with me but I only ended up using it at Milford Sound.
