Ironically some of my best shots were when I was in the early stages of the technique I now use regularly.

My photos are captured using manual focus only (focus traps). I use 4 to 6 cameras at once mounted on tripods triggered remotely. I study the birds habits in regards to the approach and departure from tbe feeder. Upon knowing their habits i position my camera/s in a designated spot within an expected flight path.
