Mountain Meadows

I haven't posted much lately. Health struggles. Here is one of my recent photos from the summer. I'll post a couple more too.

I'm not sure what the pink ones are yet but the other two main flowers in the frame are : red- Indian paint brush and purple- lupine

Thanks! Unfortunately the health struggles are of the chronic kind. Autoimmune disorder, always a challenge but getting through it and doing my best to adjust to the new normal.
The meadow was amazing and so close to home. Kilometres upon kilometres of these flowers, millions of them. Definitely going to be going back.

Sorry to hear of your ailment, aitrus. Alpine meadows are restorative, though. You certainly captured this meadow beautifully. The pink flowers are widely known as Alpine Aster. Also in the photo are Mountain Valerian (the white ones), one of the many arnica species (the yellow ones), and Bracted Lousewort (the shorter spikey ones with yellow bracts that have mostly already seeded out). - Jack
