Afternoon at the Grand Canyon.

Nice show of light and dark at the end of the afternoon, South Rim of the Grand Canyon. You can spend hours sitting in the same spot and the scenery never ceases to change around you. People don't really take the time to enjoy the changes in the lighting, they zoom by and skim the various sites offering tremendously beautiful views in the Park.

Everyone should visit the Grand Canyon once in their lifetime. One of the most beautiful places on Earth.

So I've said to my wife. She says it is just a big hole in the ground... And she's afraid of heights.

I've been, and I disagree vehemently. I almost talked her into a North Rim trip then she heard about the water line and for issues they had this year...

Still working on her.

I've been to that exact same spot. Never saw those colours. You were lucky
