Revisited and old raw photo to try editing it again. I wish I saved the before - but I felt really improved.
Anyway - thought I'd share it here!

Wow! Still a little bit of a "lumberjack " work is needed by masking the branch on top of the bird, imho.

Great capture! I really like the intricate colors and patterns of the grouse's feathers.

Nice view - I don't usually thing of a grouse 'sitting' on a branch like that.

It was different from what I've ever seen too! This grouse was flying from branch to branch eating the catkins!
