Nice detail on a beautiful snake... good job taking the glass out of the shot. What lens and how close to the glass?

Sigma 70mm 2.8 macro is the lens I used. I was up against the glass, the snake was at least 8-10 inches away. I regretfully didn't get the eyes in focus, but at 100% the detail on this vipers pit is great.

Interestingly, the slightly out of focus eye lend a certain tension that elevate the eeriness of this shot. I would keep it that way.

great shot especially if it was through glass.
