Lens: FA 20-35 f4 Camera: K-1

There are people who wonder about the FA20-35 as a small, wide angle zoom for the K-1 … it has lousy build quality but it's light and does okay.

Good candid shot. I would like to know what that strange looking main gun is. Can't find anything like it in the lists of equipment so far.

Thanks, mate.

It's not the 25mm chain gun featured on these Canadian designs?

Yes, it is the chain gun. I've found it now. This barrel has a strange profile which looks like three or four tubes coming into one. They don't all look like that. It may be some kind of fluting to assist heat dispersal.

The fluting also aids in rigidity over a solid barrel of the same weight.

Makes sense. You wouldn't want to fire that unit until it glows red and starts to droop!

(I have never bothered with fluted barrels. I am generally a get in close and fire one shot man.)
