A last look back

I took a last look back at Milford Sound before we got back into the bus to return to Te Anau through the tunnel.

Like the view! Reminds me of Norway, only that the mountains in the images look a bit more dramatic.

Thanks! They call is Fiordland for a reason! One day I'll get to see the fjords of Norway too, I hope!

Beautiful shots Rob! I love the snow covering the peaks. Don't forget to add Alaska to your list if you haven't already been there. I will see Milford Sound in February and then plan a trip to Norway sometime in the future.

I look forward to your photos of NZ! The closest I've been to Alaska was Mount Ranier in Washington State, or possibly Banff in Canada. There's so much world to see!

The first ones wonderful, I’m partial to these kind of landscapes with pointy bits in.

I'll include this photo here - it's from my phone, but gives the astounding view of the rainbow in the fiord.

Gorgeous shots! I too am partial to landscapes with pointy bits, especially when they rise straight from the water and have snow on them... And that rainbow - wow...
