Lighting up Niagara Falls · **1 Like**

I took these while standing out on the tiny balcony at the Sheraton on the Falls. The storm was near Buffalo. A couple of lucky shots.

The second one seems quite grainy; what was the ISO? I like the first one quite a lot.

They are both 800. The second one highlights the light areas. The first one darkens them. It seems that is the reason for the graininess. This is from a K-7 which gives a partial explanation. Couple that with the "enhancement". Thanks for your comment. It is helpful.

I was blown away when I was there, the falls should be IMHO one of the modern day wonders of the world.
