Nice scene but a bit hard to get down to the beach (or hard to get back up perhaps).

Yes, just next to the rocks.

That trawler looks like a rock at first glance. If you hadn't mentioned it, I would never have picked it out.

I understand that there's a lot of fishing for crayfish going on, so I guess they have to set the pots close to the shore.

Thanks Tony! The South Island is stunning! I saw the north island when I was six years old, and one thing which stuck in my memory was how green it was. The Fiordland region is certainly mountainous!

Thank you! Sometimes having something human for scale helps. Usually I work hard to keep people and human objects out of my landscape photos.
