Posted By: JMR, 10-14-2008, 08:01 PM

A shot of one of the many scenes depicting flaming colours. Taken in the Haliburton Highlands.

Beautiful. The water being a little choppy makes me feel chilly looking at this though!

a shallow DOF would make those colors stand out more but nevertheless, nice combinations

The different shades of blue (water(2) and sky(1)) really make the reds pop.

It is funny how we perceive a scene with the naked eye as beautiful with a luminescent quality and as soon as we approach the scene, the light seems to get dull. I think the sum came out from behind a cloud and dulled the leaves a bit, because as you know, foliage scenes are best taken in bright overcast light. Thanks.

Great shot with punching colors. but I am also interested in the colorblast at the other bank of the lake, seen in the background of the shot.
