The Neighbor's Garden Hose
Lens: Vivitar 80-200mm Camera: K-50 Photo Location: Idaho ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F8

For an old, manual lens made in the 70's, this one never failed to produce some amazing images. The very pleasing blue color in the background was my neighbor's garden hose hung on his fence.

I like the color profile on this one. Great sharpness and detail. I would not have guessed that this was form a 70s lens.

Love how the arc of the branch matches the arc of the garden hose. And that blue color is fantastic. From now on that color should be called "Garden Hose Blue." Definitely should be considered for a wall hanger.

Wonderful image! Who would have thought a garden hose would provide such a marvelous backing?

Thanks for all the kind words. This was one of those images that didn't really reveal itself until I had downloaded it and was editing. That old Vivitar lens was a genuine performer.
