channeling Maxfield Parrish...
Posted By: FHPhotographer, 10-14-2008, 11:41 PM

Sort of a yin and yang, sunrise sunset duality thing. An early morning shot, a late afternoon shot, combined in PS and given a "Maxfield Parrish light" kind of treatment. The morning worked out better. Comments and critique?

Brian, this is an interesting treatment and I like it. That said, I prefer the left-hand (morning?) image, I find the branch of the tree more interesting and the hills in the background have a cleaner outline. I do like the texture of the water in the right hand shot.

Ah, I see what you mean about "Maxfield Parrish light"! Very inventive.

While each looks good on its own, I really like the pairing. Good work!

I like the pen and ink emulation. I also like the pairing.
