Great angle of view. Emphasizes the curves and chrome of that beautiful machine. Doesn't hurt that the color matches the sky either.

Lovely pix of that '50's Oldsmobile. Reminds me of times with my cousin Bill, may he RIP.

Bill had a '54 Olds 88 with the Oldsmobile Rocket V8 and 4 speed Hydra-matic transmission. He was about 4 years older than me and back from around '59 to about '61 he would take me for the occasional ride in his '88'. When Billy drove it...generally flat out

...you could hear that wonderful V8 exhaust note as it would wind through the gears of the Hydra-matic. Lot's of punch and I could feel the acceleration 'push' my back...almost constantly.

When he passed away eleven years ago, he was working on restoring a '70's El Camino with a built 350 V8.
