Cosmos Buds.
Lens: DA 18-135mm WR Camera: K-70

Trying to bloom again in October. Aptly named flower. At this stage I think they do look a little alien like

Well done. They do look like some kind of alien spores.

I agree with these comments plus I like the composition-having the largest bud on top works pretty well.
