Sure... with 100mm macro do we need to move close to the subject like 50mm macro. I'm asking beacuse i never used a 100mm macro but have used 50mm f 2.8
For insects we cant always stay close to them.

Yeah.. i am planning to buy used 100mm f4 or f 2.8. Might get cheply from ebay
