Drinking Fountain

I took this shot a little while ago, and converted it to B&W. Haven't done much in that field.
Any comments would be appreciated. Be as harsh or complimentary as you wish.
Thanks.

What a great looking piece of work! I would have cropped a little more in the top.... great first shot. JIMBO

I like the lines that you've created in this shot Bruce. I do agree with Jimbo though, if you crop it from the top to make the lowest shadow dissect the corner you will have cropped out the distracting (IMO) top RH corner. By doing this you create a nice series of triangles around and within the picture.

Sorry if I got all arty farty for a minute.

I like it as-is, though a little "off the top" is good, too. I would, perhaps, have included all the shadow at the bottom.

I agree, the whole shadow at the bottom would be better but that is the edge of the photo. My fault missed that. If I had shifted the whole camera down a fraction I think both problems would have been solved. Anyway....

Thanbks a lot for that, appreciate your interest and comments.

Very "moody" if you crop more down towards the left to include the full shadow.
