A Boy and His Dog
Lens: Super Tac 50mm f:1.4 Camera: Pentax Spotmatic Photo Location: California

Out of all the thousands upon thousands of photographs I've taken in my life, I think this is very likely my favorite of the lot. This was my son who is now 50 years old, and his little dog "Snatch." Where oh where did the time go? ..... sigh.....

What a wonderful photo. The look on your son's face says it all..such a big boy. My wife looked at it too and said your photograph is adorable.

Yep, Todd, all the aunts and cousins have this photo in their family album some where or other. I usually refrain from posting family photos. I've seen how it can get out of hand and turn a forum into something it wasn't intended to be, but I thought this one was just "different" enough to take a chance on. Thanks for allowing my indulgence. From an old guy to you younger photographers, you can NEVER take too many photographs of your children. NEVER, so keep clickin'!

I just burst out laughing with all the adorable features of this image. Small boy with huge umbrella that he can barely hold, such bright eyes and facial expression, boy is happy with the umbrella while Snatch is not liking getting quite wet out in the rain. Clearly one cherished as an intimate family record.

And a really good photo in and of itself. Excellent in B&W. Thanks.
