Thanks. My first go at it looked like I was a bit heavy handed with sharpening. Reworked it and previewed the post here and it looked too soft. Went back for a third time and just can't get it to look right. Wanted to get my post count up so posted it anyway.

I really can't judge this image based on the above small jpg image. With a photo like this, it's important to see the detail/grain, which is impossible on such a small image. Maybe in the future consider posting larger images. Thanks,

Nice image. The grain and the different kinds of lichen are interesting.

How? If I try to post anything larger than 900 on the vertical it gets auto reduced and the image look even worse. But I am extremely technologically challenged so any advice in this area will be very much appreciated. Thank you for any help you can provide.
