One Dog And His Man
Posted By: Kerrowdown, 10-12-2019, 12:08 PM

I saw this dog taking his man out for regular walks on several occasions.

I had the opportunity later in the week to to talk briefly to this dog about his owner and got him to agree to quick portrait together.

Not sure who has more hair, the dog or the man.

Nice shot Kerrowdown!

Have you not heard the phrase that owner gets to look like their dog...

What a wonderful looking dog. Reminds me of my dog, named Willie, in his looks. We were inseparable back in the 1970's and 80's. He was a rescue dog, as a woman had dumped him off at the vet. She didn't want him , didn't like him for some reason. The vet thought the dog may have been abused.

The Vet, a compassionate soul was looking for a new home for him. Fortunately Willie came into my life. As far as the vet could tell, Willie was probably a West Highland Terrier and Poodle cross. He was a small dog, but was a loyal, wonderful...but one man dog. We had many an adventure together.

BTW, excellent portrait...sorry I wandered off topic ...I got carried away with my memory of my old pup.

What is it that they say about people looking like their dogs? Your portrait illustrates the point nicely.

In this case the dog has groomed his man to look similar... in this particular symbiotic relationship, the dog is the boss.

Nice shot Kerrowdown!
Pretty much my thought, I was thinking who is fluffier. Fun shot but also a bit gritty too.

I like it.
