Macro carpet

Trying to experiment with macro shots.

I like it. The colour and the texture have come across nicely, the detail is clear, and although you told us what it was there was a moment if "what exactly is it?".

You should have called it "tribbles at rest" and waited for the reaction...

Now, that sure looks intriguing. Think I've never seen a studio-style close-up shot of a left-behind scrap of carpet!

Your subject may benefit from a little fill - just a tad - on the shadow areas of the scrap, which could be provided by a piece of Styrofoam or a reflector?

At any rate, cool image.

Great texture and sharpness. It suggests an "animal" shape to me.

Hi Madaboutpix Thanks for your comment, but please let me know what you mean about fill......and i appreciate your remark about a studio style close up. heehee... that never even entered my mind, was just hoping to get a decent macro shot.
