Not often we see lazy squirrels here. They usually are leaping all over the place. Not this guy, Hes enjoying the last days of warm weather catching some Rays.

Another nice one. Perhaps the 'sheriff' from your previous thread was checking him out!

A comatose squirrel?

OK - none of our squirrels ever lie down, or even sit still.......What did you put in his food??

Seriously, great shot!

That's hilarious! This guy must feel that he has plenty of nuts stored away already. Well done capture. Thanks.

Thank you everyone for the comments! Ive never seen such a lazy squirrel either! Maybe I have spoiled them with all the bird feeders and he just figures he can slack off. I didnt even know squirrels could sprawl like that.

hmm I did notice someone ate all the poppy seed pods in the garden.I wonder?

Thanks again,
Al

I know that feeling, head down tail up, the sun often moves in mysterious ways here in the Highlands.

On the other hand it may have something to do with dram consumption.

Truly great shot.
