Taken from just off my parents' patio, in the city of Mankato, Minnesota. There are a shopping mall and baseball field on the other side of the field of corn.

Splendid! Edgar Alan Poe is hiding in the stalks somewhere, I can just feel it. Perfect on so many levels. I love images like this that are so compelling by their intensity and harshness. Hang it!

Very dramatic, great use of B&W. You also have three strong elements in the composition.

Outstanding! It instantly grabbed my attention from the thumb-nail view. Very powerful and moody imagery. I agree with Dewman, I would hang it.

powerful, dramatic shot! excellent bw conversion. and that "sun window" in clouds makes nice contrast to the scene.
