Beautiful photograph, Todd. More than just a "peek".

I am a little confused: the exif data gives a "focal length" of 140mm, while it shows the lens as 100mm Macro?

Thanks K2 to K50! I had the HD 1.4x teleconverter on it and it doesn't recognize it other than the focal length changes.

Aha - that explains it! I continue to be amazed by examples in this Forum at how well the Pentax 1.4x works without degrading images. I usually thought of using it for giving extra reach to telephoto focal ranges, but never even wondered about its use in macro photography. I can feel a budget blowout coming on!!!

You really should buy it. It works great with the 100mm macro. Probably better than on a long telephoto.

It is now officially on the shopping list. Bought my new Vanguard Alta Pro2+ 263AP Aluminum-Alloy Tripod Kit with Alta PH-32 a few weeks ago, after my big splurge in June on the KP, 55-300 plm, 100mm 2.8 macro wr, and the 16-85mm WR so the bank balance has a lot of recovery to do.

But I don't regret any of those purchases!!!

That is a very nice kit! Besides the 100mm macro I also have the 16-85 which is my go-to travel lens.
