As long as I keep seed in the feeder, these little guys will keep coming and posing.

Thanks, jmacias. I get so many of them coming around.... and I had accumulated so many photos of them, I finally just quit.

Nice BOB (bird on branch) portrait. The colorful background really brings out the brown-white of this bird, and the branch is at a nice jaunty angle. Good Composition. Thanks.

Thanks, Ted. The colors were from a piece of cloth I hung on the fence behind the bird. The branches were added to the birdhouse post for convenience sake. It worked like a charm. That simple set-up provided me with lots of fun and some fair photographs.

Thanks for the comments, Dave. I took down the cloth but the frame is semi-permanently attached to the fence. The birdhouse is a permanent fixture.

Of course they come - no reason to work for a living when you can accept a 'bribe', and the only 'cost' is an occasional photo.

Winter is when I put up the feeders.
This land produces more than enough to feed them during the Spring, Summer, and Autumn.
