A B&W in Progress
Posted By: metroeloise, 10-16-2008, 11:34 PM

I like this one. The more I look ar it the more I like it. From here I want to get a creamier texture on the bodies. Think that will take some layers work and I am just learning. Suggestions?

Thanks.

Looks a little dark on my work monitor....or was that done purposely? I also see some vertical lines....is that banding or textures?

It is dark. And it is what I want. My graphic card blew out and I am running off my intel interated graphic () And it is not calibrated.

Until next paycheck.

What I want to do is bring up the light a tad in the areas there is some lighting. Make the skin tones creamer. I like the 3d effect. As for the lines they are banding. Could someone educate me on what those are and how to deal with them in PP?

The banding as I understand it is noise as a consequence of shooting in low light. You will get both horizontal and vertical lines if you are using a battery grip.
