Nature Tri colored heron

Here's a tri colored (I think) Heron I shot at one of the Bailey tracts on Sanibel Island a few weeks ago. I was really looking for alligators but the wife wasn't thrilled walking thru swampy areas looking for them. Thus, we cut the walk short.

This one cropped a little to remove distracting background elements.

Very good shot. Shows the bird nicely. I don't know what it is with women and alligators. My wife feels the same way about crocodiles.

Thank you for the kind comments. Wife really didn't even want to walk very far past the parking lot.
