I was really struggling to find something.... ANYTHING in this tangle of flowers, buds and stems. This was all I could come up with.

This is a tough one, but I'm seeing conflict and struggle here, and that makes a good story.

A nice colour mixture; just enough varied content to keep you looking, without making the image busy; an air of "Je ne sais quoi?". Expectancy? Something about to happen?

The more you look at this one, the more you want to keep looking! Good one, Dewman.

Thank you for the kind words. This was one of my earliest outing with the 1:2 macro Sigma lens and I was putting it through it's paces, wanting to see how well it performed with that feature. I was very impressed. I thought it was very sharp, especially for a long focal length zoom. I've also had a couple of copies of their DG model, but found the APO DG to be a better lens - better color saturation and a little sharper - or at least it seemed so to my eyes.
