Very sharp, very pretty. Interesting a pair of dog ears next to a dog eared post. German Shepherds are awesome creatures.

A pleasing image on the eye, well seen and captured. I am envious. I like the color and brightness of it too.

Thanks, Kevin. That lens was a real gem. Bought it at a yard sale, virtually NIB for $15. It was incredibly sharp and the color saturation and bokeh were stellar, especially considering that it was said to be a "plastic-feeling, cheap lens."

I dunno, he probably just wanted to play :-) I like the look of the fur though, very tidy.

Looks like a biter to me. I'd not put my hand in there without great caution.

Really captures the dog's alertness. I can almost hear him thinking: "is there something happening here that I should know about?".

Yep, you have him figured out. He wasn't a biter.... or at least he never acted like he wanted to, but every time I took my little dog for a walk, this big guy would stand up and look over the fence with the exact attitude you described.... "Is there something happening here that I should know about?" He could have easily have jumped over the 4' fence, but he was chill.

Now I'm curious. Which lens exactly?

What a beautiful dog and a great photo showing him keeping an eye on things (and you).
