Beautiful landscape picture! I can just imagine how cold it must have been! We never see snow in sunny Durban and start looking for jerseys when the temperature drops below 25 degrees C. :-)TFS.

Thanks for the comments, Charlie Victor. Actually, this should have been titled "Spring Thaw." Winter was pretty much over and the snow was almost gone. In the dead of winter, it would all be stark white, with 3-6 feet of snow and temperatures of 25-30 below zero F.

We've had plenty of snow already this year (2019) up in the north, but that is north of the Arctic circle on the Arctic tundra and mountain ranges.
